Hello and welcome to the blog of W.F. Thorne! Not sure what I should be writing for my first post, so I guess I’ll just put down whatever springs into my mind. Where to start… Hmm…

A general introduction to who you are is a good start, ya know?

Good idea! Well I’m from Melbourne, born and raised, and I’m hoping to make a career out of what I love the most – writing. I’m currently working on a dark fantasy series involving a war between celestial beings and vampires.

Oh God no! Don’t tell me we’re going to be seeing more sparkly vamps and werewolves full of teen angst!

No nothing like that. These vampires will be a throw back to the days when vampires were bloodthirsty creatures of the night. They won’t look like they’ve fallen into a vat of glitter when they step out into the sun, trust me.

They’ll fry up like a piece of bacon! Hmm… Bacon…

Focus! We need to get this blog on the road. There’ll be time for bacon later.

You’re right. Tell us about some of your interests? Like maybe some topics you’ll be talking about regularly here?

If there’s one thing I love more than bacon (BLASPHEMY) it’s wrestling. I’ve loved wrestling ever since I was a kid. And video games – love video games! Oh, and TV! I admit I watch an unhealthy amount, but I can’t help a good binge or two… Or ten.

So, your blog’s gonna be about those things?

Pretty much! There’s enough wrestling in the world to go around so there’s heaps to talk about. For now, I think I’ll just focus on a weekly rundown of the three main WWE shows: Raw, Smackdown, and NXT.

There’s many things to talk about when it comes to video games, so I think I’ll start by talking about the stories behind them.

As for TV shows, well I guess I’ll just talk about the random stuff I’m currently watching as well as go back and visit the many series I’ve watched over the many years.

So many things to talk about, so little time. You’re gonna be talking about your books too, right?

Of course! I’ll provide updates here and there as well as give little snippets of my work. I’ll also talk about things that inspired the creation of certain characters or places in my fantasy world.

And don’t forget all the random goodness that’ll pop into your head or read randomly! Everyone loves a good rant!

I’m sure they’ll be plenty of that to go around as well!

Very true. Wait, isn’t this technically the first post?

Yeah… I guess it is. Good job! I think you got most of the basics covered. Now it’s just a matter of keeping them posts coming!

Oh I’m sure you know who I am. And if you don’t, I’m sure you’ll learn who I am soon enough.
